 Each CardSafe unit stands 25 cm tall, is 7.5 cm wide, and 14 cm deep. It is made of high quality, toughened moulded plastic and holds up to 10 credit cards, each in a secure cartridge. When a customer is asked for their card, the member of staff removes a cartridge from the rack, places the credit card inside the drawer, locks the drawer and gives the unique key to the customer. The locked cartridge is then replaced in the rack – keeping the card secure until it comes to paying the bill and the key is then returned by the customer.
